Creole in a Tropical Immersion in the Dominican Republic

Are you interested in learning this beautiful Creole language in order to communicate as fast as possible?

SunCampDR offers Creole Immersion Classes.

Four hours per day, but the rest of the day is for you to communicate with local people and make your own experiences. (More classes upon request).

Special Creole class prices:

Only $600 dollars for 20 lessons of one hour each (5 lessons per week for 4 weeks ) ! (Also possible to take classes for only one week). The price includes lodging, airport pick up and a guide to accompany the student in activities and outings.

Our Concept: We all know the importance of learning another language and share your enthusiasm to learn Creole. We offer you the perfect way to learn while you are experiencing a vacation in a Latin country, or while you are working here in Puerto Plata. An immersion in the typical Muñoz community will assure maximum progress in communication.

Use what you are learning daily while exploring this beautiful Island and getting to know the local people and their culture. Enhance your abilities to communicate in Creole.

Our Goals: The course is designed especially to teach you what you need in order to function in a Creole environment. While you get the opportunity to practice the language in a natural and simple way, you will achieve self-confidence.

You will widen your vocabulary, form simple sentences and you will be able to communicate and handle simple conversations about daily and general topics. Who can join the class? All guests at SunCampDR who want to learn how to communicate in Creole.

Age: 15 to 70 years old, all nationalities.

Levels : beginners 1 ( new to the language) beginners 2 ( with already a little base in Creole).

Groups: 5 to 12 students.

The Teachers: Our experienced teachers are Creole speaking with nice and friendly personality. Classes are given with enthusiasm and the teacher maintains a constant creativity and is flexible to adapt to the specific situation in the classroom.

Since the groups are small, the teacher can focus on your individual needs and assist you the best she can. Classes are dynamic and alive.

The Schedule: Four hours every day From 8am to 12:00 If the group is non-workers.

The Class Room: Classes will take place in a kiosk outdoors, if it rains, then inside.

Materials: Fotocopies and book (not included in price), bring your note book and pen.

Last course: You will receive a certificate!
