There are many activities to be enjoyed on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. We can arrange any excursions you want to do during your travel vacation.

Beaches: The beaches of the north coast are beautiful and offer relaxing places. The white sand and crystal blue water are astonishing... The public beaches of Playa Dorada and Costa Dorada are just a couple kilometers away. You can rent beach chairs nearby and enjoy traditional Dominican lunch or drinks at one of the many beachside restaurants. The Malecon Boulevard along the ocean has many typical casetas, which are little restaurants and bars. One is popular with the kite surfers who discovered the best place for their sport. They are beautiful to watch also!

Costambar beach is another site to visit at only 20 minutes drive from SuncampDR. The area is more residencial and this beach has some seashells. You can take nice walk and eat right in front of the ocean in one of the typical restaurant. Seafood is the speciality. Many foreigners from different part of the world also have their business there.

Cofresi beach is awaiting you! Visit Ocean World and swim with the dolfins! This is the main attraction of the North Coas of the Dominican Republic. Beautiful set up for you to discover at only 25 minutes drive from your appartment in Munoz!

Sosua Beach is another calm, relaxing bay to swim at 30 minutes drive from SuncampDR. The speciality in Sosua is SCUBA DIVING and SNORKELING. You can rent equipment if you don't have your own. The Dominican Republic's north coast boasts great Caribbean diving and snorkeling. You can see schools of tropical fish just off the shore or take a boat excursion to one of several coral reefs and even take in some wreck diving. We can arrange single or multiple dive trips, shore dives, boat excursions, guided tours and certification classes. Not certified, but want to dive? No problem. With some Scuba diving companies,you can get in the water with just a couple hours of training.

The beach at Cabarete - about 45 minutes away by bus - is popular for surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing and other water sports. Each year around June, when the winds are best, they celebrate international competitions.  Cabarete is a very live place, day and night! There are many restaurants that cater to foreign tourists with many international delights.

Kite Surfing: Cabarete is the world capital of kite surfing, a sport in which you stand on a surfboard holding onto a large parachute-like kite and the wind pulls you along the water as fast as you would want to go. Once the wind picks up in the late morning, kite surfers head out from the shore into the ocean. Wait a minute and you'll see one jump off a wave and fly 20 feet in the air! There are many training schools in Cabarete ready to set you off into the air.

Horseback Riding: Enjoy riding through traditional Dominican trails and witness breath taking scenery by horseback! We offer horseback riding trips through the lush vegetation, sugarcane fields, fruit trees, traditional villages and along the beach. Trips are for three to four hours and at only US$20. Fishing Trip: We organize a fishing trip from Cangrejo beach, 15 minutes away from SuncampDR.... Time to cook! Oh yes, a typical meal cooked right there on the beach tastes so much better (especially if we cook the fish just caught at Cangrejo beach and reefs)! Let‘s share a drink telling all kind of stories not told for while... a joyful event! Another activities that brings people closer together at SunCampDR, a different experience with the most beautiful scenery, especially to watch the sunset... unique to our tropical style! We can also book a deep sea fishing trip for your enjoyment!

Yoga: Our on-site yoga teacher can meet with you regularly for morning yoga sessions.

27 Waterfalls: Damajaqua Cascades (27 Waterfalls) is one of the most popular tours in the area. Be prepared for an exhilarating experience: climb up waterfalls, jump off cliffs into the natural pools and slide down the waterfall crevices. There are tours for different levels; you can go the entire route up the 27 falls or just go for the first seven and make a relaxing afternoon of it. We can arrange the tour, transportation, and lunch at a local seafood restaurant.

Cascade Juan Nina: We take a 45 minutes drive west of SunCampDR Apartments Rentals and we get to the typical village of Juan de Nina. We leave the car and start a marvelous walk of about 1h30 minutes to reach the most beautiful cascade! The walk is really enjoyable, we cross the cascade several  times, you see some beautiful sceneries and admire rocks of all types, shapes and colors...
